Public clocks driven by mains powered synchronous motors were a large part of the business.
Clocking-in clocks for business and factory sites were also installed using clocks made by Ericsson in Scandinavia.
Synchro Time Systems Ltd was taken over by Smiths in 1939 when it became English Clock Systems Ltd.
